Tactical Technology Planning for Nonprofits Toolkit
Presenter: Joshua Peskay, Idealware Expert Trainer

Five 60-minute webinars
10:00am-11:00am PST 
Thursdays between January 5 and February 2
Over five weeks you’ll view eLearning modules that cover common nonprofit technology needs and complete worksheets designed to help you make key decisions. Then, once a week, our expert trainer will work with you to answer your questions and build on your knowledge. You’ll also have opportunities to share your experiences and learn from peers who are facing the same challenges.
Throughout this course, you will:
  • Learn about the tactical planning process and pick up tips for getting started at your organization. 
  • Review nonprofit infrastructure needs including office hardware, data backup, software, and staff IT support. 
  • Consider data management technology and best practices. 
  • Think through the mix of communications at your organization and how to get real value from your communications work. 
  • Gain insights and feedback from an expert trainer who can address your unique challenges.
  • Share ideas and experiences and learn from your peers. 
  • Prioritize your technology needs and develop a long-term plan for implementing them.

​Perinatal Mental Health – Evidence Based Practices and New Research Findings
​
The workshop attendees will learn about risk factors and epidemiology of perinatal mental disorders (MDD, Bipolar Dis, Anxiety Dis, Psychotic Dis, PTSD, Grief related issues), differential diagnosing, and evidence-based assessment and treatment. In the end of the workshop they will be able to create an evidence-based service plan to meet the needs of the woman and her family. In addition, they will be able to identify cultural and socio-economic factors in the development of perinatal mental health issues, and approach treatment from a systemic, strengths-based, and holistic lens.
Free for NASW members, $35 for nonmembers.

Operated by Crisis Support Network which serves all crime victims in Pacific and Grays Harbor Counties to provide comprehensive and caring services to all those harmed by a crime, including assault, bullying, child abuse, robbery, hate crimes, identify theft, and more. 
Developmental Disabilities Administration

​provides resources for families with children or seeking to foster children with developmental disabilities
Drug Rehab for Teens ​provides resources for families and teens who are affected by teen drug abuse. Provides information and connects families to nearby treatment centers
Educational Service District aims to provide developmental support to children 0-3 and their families. They are currently in the beginning processes of setting up a Pacific County-specific program. 
Northwest Justice Project  Free Legal Services for many in need, including Native Americans, immigrants, and low income people facing legal issues affecting basic human needs such as family protection of income, safety and security, access to healthcare, housing preservation, education and other basic needs. 
Leslie V. & Stella J. Raymond Foundation​ community foundation benefiting civic/youth organizations within the City of Raymond, WA, most notably granting scholarships to Raymond high school graduates. 
ResCare Youth Career Services 
Employment and Education Services for youth 16-24, which can include tutor referral, study skills training, drop-out prevention, work training and certifications, paid work experience, job search assistance, and more

Washington 21st Century Community Learning Centers   supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools.
Washington Law Help find legal aid offices and browse hundreds of helpful legal publications, videos, and do it yourself packets covering many common legal problems such as divorce, landlord-tenant, consumer, education, employment, government benefits and more. 
WorkSource WA connects people with employers and helps these individuals find employment through their website and community trainings.
