The workshop attendees will learn about risk factors and epidemiology of perinatal mental disorders (MDD, Bipolar Dis, Anxiety Dis, Psychotic Dis, PTSD, Grief related issues), differential diagnosing, and evidence-based assessment and treatment. In the end of the workshop they will be able to create an evidence-based service plan to meet the needs of the woman and her family. In addition, they will be able to identify cultural and socio-economic factors in the development of perinatal mental health issues, and approach treatment from a systemic, strengths-based, and holistic lens.
