This mission is not reached through one activity or event, but rather through a number of educational activities that relate to the total concept of youth development. The Regional Alliance for Youth (RALLY)
Youth Development RALLY coordinates education and employment readiness opportunities from cradle to career through a common agenda, shared measurement systems, mutually reinforcing activities and continuous communication. A regional gathering of 80+ youth-serving organizations that uses a collective impact approach to better serve young people from cradle to career in all parts of their lives, including workforce development. Girl Scouts Youth Development Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others. Child and Family Services People are healthy, safe, supported, and taxpayer resources are guarded. Family Assessment Response (FAR) provides a comprehensive assessment of child safety, risk of subsequent child abuse or neglect, family strengths and need. No subject is named and no findings made. Child Protective Services (CPS) investigates reports of child abuse and neglect. They will work with both parents to safely care for their child. CPS can also go to court to remove a child from the parents' care if necessary to protect the child. Contact your local Children's Administration office to find out how to get in touch with your child's social worker. WorkSource is a joint venture of organizations dedicated to addressing Washington State's employment needs. Partners include state and local government agencies as well as local community based organizations that provide a wide range of employment and training-related services.
